Since 1946, a story to tell in the present.

The story begins in 1946 when Antonio Grazia, with a spirit of enterprise and great commitment, gives life to the "Riseria del Basso Veronese", based in Legnago (VR). The entrepreneurial skills of the founder, combined with the knowledge of the areas suited to the production of rice, allow a constant rise of the Riseria which, in 1984, by the successor Gaetano Grazia, moved to the new headquarters in Minerbe. In 2004 the Riseria obtained the ISO9001 quality certification. Since 2009 the company has been managed by the founder's grandchildren: Alberto and Alessandro Grazia who expanded the plant in 2013.

A Rice of excellence

Reasons to choose Grazia rice.

Quality at the highest levels, craftsmanship, excellent workmanship, respect for the environment
and consideration for people.

Tradition

In Minerbe - one of the most active centers located within the so-called Bassa Veronese - the culture of rice is always in turmoil, strongly rooted in a culinary tradition, coming from a past where the nutritional supply of the population largely depended on this precious cereal. The climate, the morphological configuration of the land, the hard work of man, the cultivation techniques, have been and still are fundamental elements to determine the high quality of Veronese rice, of which Grazia promotes for selection and quality.

Quality

The production system of the Riseria del Basso Veronese Grazia consists mainly in the selection of the rice varieties, responding to the highest quality required. The company guarantees products that do not contain genetically modified organisms. Each phase of cultivation is accompanied by systems that follow the natural course of the entire vegetative period of the plants, until they are perfectly ripe. Threshing, harvesting, shelling, refining, dehulling, selection, packaging take place thanks to the latest generation technology, supported by total respect for the historical culture of rice processing.

Naturalness

Grazia rice belongs to the class of GMO free food products in line with the strict rules of cultivation completely unrelated to any transgenic or genetically modified process. In Italy, with the exception of a part of Tuscany, the areas of excellence with rice cultivation are found mainly in the belt that extends from Piedmont, Lombardy and southwestern Veneto, where the best species of this precious cereal are grown. The greater production, located in the great Veronese valleys, is certainly favored by the climate linked to the characteristics of the territory.
